Come Along Ponds! - Doctor Who Thread

Outta the blue, which Sonic Screwdriver is your favorite?

I'm torn between The Sonic Pen, Sonic Lipstick and Sonic Cane.

Which series?
Little late on this, but it was Torchwood. I had watch the whole series over those two weeks.

Also another interesting thing I noticed, according to official canon there have been as many regenerations in the new series as the entire original series.

Original had six: From First to Seventh.
Movie had one: Seventh to Eighth
Revival has had six: Eighth to War (in one if the shorts), War to Ninth, Ninth to Ten, Ten's meta-crisis thing, Ten to Eleven, and Eleven to Twelve.

Next time the doctor regerates half of all regerations will be in the new series.

On another note, how about that finale? No spoilers, but big episode in terms of characters. And the end made our whole club go crazy (in a good way). Wondering what Christmas has in store after that episode.

The finale was amazing. They blew my mind, not just because I didn't think they'd do it, but I called it weeks ago. I'll have to check my house for bugs or maybe one of you guys write for Doctor Who? :p

This is probably a good time to mention that a few weeks ago, when I was in NYC, I got a sonic screwdriver. Smile

Nice. I wonder what will Capaldi's sonic screwdriver look like when he changes it, considering his clothes changed a bit already in the Christmas Special.
