What's going on in your life? |
Wow, haven't seen you around in a while here, Imki.
Today was my last ever day of high school. My friends and I (and everyone in general) spent the day celebrating and cheering the fact that we made it. We ended up going to a friend's house to celebrate. I think all all of us drank a little bit too much It was glorious.
Now to think about what lies ahead. It's kind of a bittersweet moment for me, as I'm happy because we graduated, but sad that I'll leave very close friends behind, as I'll be probably studying far away (I live in Margarita Island, and my mom wants me to study in Caracas, the capital). Ah, well. Who knows what plans does life have? Time will tell, I guess.

Congratulations RG. I hope life has a great future for you.
You're now a grown-up, in the eyes of the law, an adult. You now have the same rights as your classmates now, your average adult, and your parents. You must celebrate this new package of rights. And you must defend them. Use them wisely and responsibly as well. Yes, my friend. Chase your dreams. Be yourself. You're the leader of your destiny from now on. Make the right choices, and don't fall so low, even if times are tough. You don't need to listen to your parents, at least legally. You're the master of your own fate. Study whatever you wish, where you want to, and if you don't want to study, don't. After all... You are the new leader of your "nation". A "nation" called life.

It means a lot @Ryccia: I'm 17, so I'm not an "adult" yet, but I still have some privileges anyway Besides, I do want to study in Caracas, as the best universities in the country are there. As of now, I will study either history or international relations (I can thank NS for getting me interested in the latter).

Whoops, didn't realize that. It was just a speech to cheer you up or something like that.
Congratulations, nevertheless.
