You might be surprised how relatively easy it is to move celestial bodies.

Now I don't normally see anything wrong with having "the power of the sun in the palm of one's hands," but there are logistical problems with the idea of physically housing a star inside a star dreadnaught especially the collapsed core of a supergiant star.
First and foremost how does one replace the star once its expended its energy? Does the vessel split itself open somehow to "consume" the star or does its go the Rakata star forge/First Order star killer base route absorbing the energy of the star from the outside? Then there's also the issue of technology, even though this is science fiction there is a fine line between godmodding and having powerful technologies. Dyson spheres are considered balanced despite possessing materials that would have made thermal weapons ineffective because they are immobile energy plants. Having this on a moving vessel on the otherhand straddles the line of godmodding since the ship itself would have to regulate the immense heat from the enclosed star, be large enough to house said star and then have thrusters large enough to move the vessel.

The amount of mass that has to be accelerated needs to be considered too. Would it be feasible to move about with such a massive things as a neutron star, even if it's a fraction of a normal neutron star?
I see your points. I’ll use a small artificial star, and my ships won’t be big enough to move stars or alter orbits.
