There have been many unelected Presidents. You should point out "neither elected as President nor as Vice President" to make your argument accurate.

In other news, I want some SPIT. Farengeto?

Well, technically, the the vice president was an elected official, as he ran on the same ticket as the president, therefore, by voting for president, they voted for vice president. after Vice President Spiro Agnew's resignation, Gerald Ford was appointed vice president by congress, as per the 25th amendment. upon President Richard Nixon's resignation, Gerald Ford ascended to the position of President of the United States. therefore, he was the only president never truly elected by the people to the office of president.

also, when will the next VD be announced?

Electors cast one vote for President and another vote for Vice President, for both are elected positions. True enough, they go as a team and people vote based on the President mostly, but that doesn't mean the VP isn't also elected.

When all Cabinet members have voted. We could announce now, but I think it's basic courtesy to let everyone vote, even if we have a majority. Each Cabinet member should have a voice in the matter.

Not sleeping enough takes a toll on you, trust me. That said, I know all too well how difficult it is to go to sleep early, so go ahead. Tounge
