Its Aussie tradition. You pay for as many drinks as you can, aside from your own. In the end, everyone pays about the same amount, and those who are more generous pay more. It works really well, obviously, as we are one of the most liveable countries in the world.

Of course, I'm underage, so this is the only place I can practice the Australian spirit.

Remember that book I was looking for and had been unable to find? Well, I eventually found a download link in a forum post on page 6 or so of the Google search results. It was in a format the computer where I was downloading it couldn't run, so I just sent the file to my iPad, where it ran successfully. Hooray!
