Ok. Why should the S.S.U. declare war on Ryccia?

Bruuma and Puerto Pollo vote in favour of Laiwan accession on the condition that in the event of the S.S.U. going to war, they will automatically cut all relationships with the enemy nations without the need of a political or public consultation.

I fear that Ryccia will start the war in the first place, given how stubborn it is go outside influence, and how they might also declare war on Laiwan given how close their nation is.

While I'm well aware of the cruelty of the Ryccian capitalist regime, I don't think it is a sufficient reason at the present to start a new war. We have all already sustained considerable military and economic efforts in the latest conflicts, without any considerable political or strategic gain for any of us. Thus we don't think the time is right for any military action other than defense.

How about a compromise?

We officialy declare war when the SSU declares war on a nation, but our referendum will determine our aid. Less than 60% of the vote will cause our aid to be very minimal, whilist a 60% or more majority will cause our commitment to a war.

Sounds good, no?
