Changes to Local Council
#21

I agree with Lady Hopolis that the forum citizenship requirement is probably a hurdle to overcome. Is there some way to delay the elections and first change the requirements to make them more open?

I do not participate in the regional server, but I am happy to talk through instant messaging or on the forum.

I only have one candidate. I mean ... that feels like a poor turn out to me, when we need three seats.

Tsu, I'll see if I can rustle up any others and send out some TGs tonight.

Yeah — I'm actually happy we have two more. If they follow through, they'll be prime people for appointments.

Still, I think it would be easier if we opened it to all residents, so thought who are active but not on the forums could also be part of this.

Yes, I'd like to consider opening it up to all residents for the next election.

The eligibility should have been open to all residents from the outset

Not to grave dig here, but can we reconsider these changes? And/or just motion this to a vote?

With Sam moving to the vice delegate seat, if there's any way we could change this before the special election, that would be awesome.
