Does your country mine coal?
#21

Wow, it seems like I have sparked quite a discussion here.
Well, we do not really use the existing oxygen in the air too much, otherwise we will empty the atmosphere. One clever idea is to pump in CO₂ in a glassed chamberwith plants and then use the O₂ the plants create through photosynthesis. They also need quite a lot of water and nutritions and Sunlight, but it is worth it in the long run.

We also most of the times take the hydrogen and oxygen to water that then recombine to H₂O to THRUST.

The amount of oxygen in the atmosphere is so great that the use of it on a current human scale can be sustained for an extended period of time. The same can be said for nitrogen, which human can not only produce pure, but also convert into ammonia and nitrate.

Yes, but you said you used oxygen for fuel, I was wondering, has there been a test in which one uses oxygen for fuel in a conventional item/transport? Perhaps enlighten us how there is a car that uses oxygen for fuel.

Bruuma and Puerto Pollo never had any coal deposit, but it was used and imported between the second half of XIX and the first half XX century. In the '60 Bruuma discovered oil and gas deposits in its territory and stopped abrubtly any use of coal. Puerto Pollo gradually switched to oil, which still needed to be imported.

Sedunn does not have any large deposits of coal. Energy generation is coal independent.

Yes, coal is but one of the many mineral resources mined and processed in Noctenos, and while it is not commonly burned for power, it is a big export commodity.
