He looms at the discussions between the Darkstrait ArchChancellor and the Qvaitican President. Both of them are discussing about Ryccia, the High Paladin chuckled a little. His date, Sapphire Paladin Hannelore Trump walked towards him.

"Why are you chuckling Dietrich?" asked Hannelore
"It's quite amusing. ArchChancellor Ridcully and President Aaron McBane are talking to Vice-President Wilcox about Ryccia and the IOC, while King Edward himself is meters away from the scene, playfully spooning a meal to his girlfriend's mouth."
"Ah yes, I understand why you're chuckling."
"Hmmm. So, how are you enjoying it Hannah?"
"It's quite an evening, it went better than I'd expected."
"We have someone to thank though."

The High Paladin subtly preferred at the couple from La Regal Condottieri, who were sampling some tea.

"Without Ms. Amelia and her friend there, we would've never get a chance to talk with the Arbiter." said Dietrich
"We can do it later, soon we'll open the event. I heard from Fia Pendragon that a lot of the guests have arrived, we're going to open this event together." responded Hannelore
"Indeed, once then we'll thank Ms. Amelia, and then have fun."
"So, anyone that you'd like to talk to?"
"Let's see.... How about you talk to the Qvaitican delegacy, and I'll talk to the Karnetvorian delegacy." proposed Dietrich
"Sounds like a plan." answered Hannelore
"I already told Fia to talk to converse with Princess Genevieve. I believe she could relate to her the best." said Dietrich
"Alright." Responded Hannelore.

Meanwhile Ms. Amelia and Commander Alpha decided to walk up to Vice-President Wilcox. They wish to discuss little on the bilateral relations, and instead decide to compliment Wilcox's wife.

*Commander Alpha turns towards Mrs. Wilcox*

"And I assume this lovely lady is Jessica Wilcox?" asked Commander Alpha, while bowing towards them.

King Edward I: "Hmm..."

One of the Riyali Sarchetxi: "Sir, I recommend that you approach the Kringalians"

King Edward I: "Why?"

One of the Riyali Sarchetxi: "To talk about the IOC, of course"

King Edward I: "Well, fine. Stay here with the rest of my company. Let's go Katherine"

One of the Riyali Sarchetxi: "Understood"

King Edward I approached the Kringalian, Darkstraitese and Qvaitican delegations along with Katherine.

King Edward I: "Greetings Mr. Wilcox, Archchancellor Ridcully and Mr. McBane, if I am not mistaken?"

The King smiled to the Darkstraitese and Qvaitican delegations, but he faked a smile to the Kringalian delegation. He felt not anger, but awkwardness to the Kringalian delegation, as their nations had frosty relations, and they were on a festivity.

King Edward I: "Oh, you are?"

*Bows to King Edward I*

"Governor Amelia Francesca Elena of Hammerstar, and this is my best friend, Commander Alpha of the La Regal Condottieri. King Edward I presume?"

King Edward I: "It is a pleasure to meet you"

Soon-to-be Queen Katherine: "Greetings"

"It was alright. We got into some turbulence, but nothing serious" said Kerenskiy to King Vimmru. "It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Innienn." He shook her hand. "We haven't met personally since the Transsunerian War a few months ago, how is everything going?"

He then turned towards Sapphire Paladin Hannelore Trump. "Ah, yes. We arrived smoothly. Nice to meet you."

"Yes, luckily we meet under more pleasant circumstances this time. Things go very well, thank you. But a break like this was surely needed." Mrs. Innienn noticed a round table nearby with different exotic drinks. "Gentlemen, let me get a drink for you", she said and walked away.

The king and President Yaleksandr Kerenskiy continued small talking for a while, and decided to continue later after meeting other guests.


King Vimmru II and Mrs. Innienn walked passed a crowd. There was the familiar face of Archchancellor Ridcully, and two they both recognised from pictures, the Kringalian Vice President and the newly elected president of Qvait. They all seemed engaged in a serious discussion and the couple decided to not disturb and walked past.

Mrs. Innienn suggested they should meet the host, and they walked in his last known direction.

"Oh, good evening, King Edward. Mr. Wilcox and I were just discussing the IOC," Ridcully said, shooting Wilcox a glance.

Dietrich decided to leave the three from their discussion, seeing that President McBane got up from his chair and discussed more to Vice President Wilcox. Besides, it seems that the High Paladin's senior, Governor Amelia and her friend beaten him to it. So he took a glass of wine, and a piece of cheese. When he turned his back, he noticed the Sedunnic delegacy led by King Vimmru II. So, he approached them, and bowed at the couple.

"My Liege."

*Bows to the King.*

"How are you today, I see that you had a nice arrival?"

"Likewise, President Kerenskiy. How fares you and Karentvor?"

The delegacy walks back into the hall, cheerfully chatting with Ewing...
