The newly singed bill to legalise coca production may affect trade between Sedunn and Valkyria. "We will likely have to increase inspection of Valkyrian goods, parcels and cargo ships in Sedunnic ports and air ports to ensure that these illegal substances [cocaine] don't end up on the streets in Sedunn" says Pell Essienn, Sedunnic Minister of the Interior.

Prime Minister Barrett and Head of the Qaz Fire Service Lula Montgomery continue to assess the situation of the forest fires surrounding Clearhill. The Red Alert for a threat to life in Clearhill is valid until 10AM local time on Tuesday morning. The fires are being tackled well and the end of them is in sight, however, a Red Alert will remain in place while the search for the dead takes place and the ground is cleared up and made safe once again which could be a number of months. The flood warning in Cadmium remains at Yellow Alert. Departures and Arrivals at Clearhill International Airport continue to be cancelled.

Prime Minister Barrett, President Davis and Head of Qaz Fire Service Lula Montgomery are still monitoring the situation in Clearhill with the fires. The fires have been put out now, as far as can be seen both from the air and on the ground but the area is still smoldering so the fire brigade and the army will continue to pump water into the area until they are fairly sure there is no further risk of fire in the area.
