FiHami has cut off trade with Valkyria and Hystaiga. A vote to "close FiHami" is being discussed in parliament.

According to a recent statement by the foreign minister, Sedunn will arrest trade with any nation that starts a war of aggression without "solid justification according to international law", and will try to achieve a "global embargo". No nations were specifically mentioned, although it was likely aimed at Valkyria and Hystaiga.

When asked if the Empire’s actions would affect the Valkyrian war effort, the Frost Empire acknowledged that Valkyrian warships from Winston Island would, “be turned away from the new naval defensive line forcing them northbound beyond Ceretania or southbound back to the Valkyrian mainland.” The Empire also maintained that Kerlodian vessels will not be heavily affected by the new strategy and apologized for ships currently being diverted northward around Ceretania.

Reports are coming in that the Sedunnic Air Force has commenced a massive attack against the RIM. Sedunnic fighters have been seen returning to their bases without missiles under their wings, but the Sedunnic military has refused to comment so far.

Ela forces have successfully taken back the `oyana port from the RIM, but "They are most likely retreating, and waiting for an opportunity to strike - both sides have also suffered minimum losses," says the minister of defence.
The bodies of hundreds of deceased citizens have already been found, but at least 9000 are still missing. The `oyana port is still under military curfew and is closed for the public until further notice.

Prime Minister Barrett has appointed Marina Pence as Minister for Austerity and Rudy Garrett as Minister for Bureaucratising Everything. She also promised that 2020 is going to be a good year for Politics under her and is confident the Modern Marxist Party can gain another Majority in Parliament in 2020.

Prime Minister James of Clearhill has appointed Tara Fleming as Minister of Crowd Control.

Kai Fa troops have been spotted in Seranuma, the main Reizen city under the control of the Workers' Party of Reizen. Both Kai Fa and Bruuma have been backing the WPR in the past months, but so far limited their involvement to aerial and material support. Only non-combatant advisors and technicians were deployed on the ground so far. The move is probably a response to the massive joint offensive of Sedunn and the Empire against another faction, RIM, which control a strech of land between the two.

Ryccia's military junta has imposed a 1% tariff on Valkyrian goods. The profits from said tariff shall go to humanitarian efforts helping innocent Hystagian civilians affected by the war. The junta has warned that the tariffs shall increase if the war produces more and more suffering for Hystagian civilians, be they injury, death of loved ones or displacement, as a way to "make Valkyria pay the price of the blood it is planning to spill".

FiHami's Lower Parliament will be voting on whether to remain "open" to the international community following Valkyria's declaration of war on Hystaiga tomorrow. Citizens so far seem supportive of this notion.
