Izaakia launches the Iron Octopus System. Izaakian officials haven’t disclosed the specifics, but have said it helps to observe ships and submarines near izaakian territories and remotely eliminate threats.

Prime Minister Barrett has re-appointed Organised Evolution Union LC April Larson as Vice-Prime Minister. Vice-Prime Minister Larson previously served as Vice-Prime Minister to former Prime Ministers Junior Kurtz and Dane Prado when the Organised Evolution Union held the Majority in Parliament from 1986 - 1987.

King James I has recently made a new aqquisiton of firearms, to shoot recreationally in his fields. This, however, seems to only be a cover-up for him to shoot guns at a public range outside Sëraiem, that has now been named after him. He plans to shoot his 17th Century Infantry Cannon on that range.
The purchased guns include an IMG-5 with wood, a BR-B2/1, Däom 98, FSMR, PMI-20 (Rondenian Dong included), a Mëodel 1853 and Sëriod M2021 (both made out of gold and maple wood) and a RIR-3. He claims to enjoy the IMG-5, BR-B2/1 and the golden Sëriod M2021 the most, claiming the 20 carrat gold of the M2021 absorbs the recoil.

Fifth ministerial resignation since the centrist Reform government of Prime Minister Jim Coffey was elected in 2017.

Parliament overwhelmingly rejects the separation of powers act which would limit the powers of the executive.

The opposition has also promised to bring legislation to reverse moves that limited the power of the monarch, reinstating the royal veto. The prime minister has pinned her career on this legislation by the opposition being rejected.
