In a victory for the Frost Empire, 48.4% of Reizen Referenda voters have voted against independence opting to remain with the Frost Empire. 36.6% of Reizen Voters voted in favor of adopting a Socialist Republic with 15% voting for a capitalist democracy.

The United States of Izaakia has criticised the Frost Empire for undermining the democratic process and ignoring a clear majority of 51.6% for independence. The United States of Izaakia has announced that following the referendum it will recognise Reizen as an independent state under occupation by the frost empire, and impose economic sanctions on the Frost Empire until such a time as they recognise the majority vote for independence.

The Worker's Party of Reizen politburo leader Alphonse Kirihito expressed surprise at the results stating, "We knew the Imperialists would split the leave votes and make it difficult for independence activists, but we are greatly pleased that over 36% of Reizeners have embraced the Socialists cause. Following these results we intend to press our case for a power sharing deal with the Imperialists in light of this victory one that will ensure the rights of Reizen Proletariat and the territorial integrity of Reizen and Frost Empire."

The Reizen Independence movement welcomed the USI's statement recognizing Reizen independence from an undisclosed location and vowed to "liberate" Reizen from the Frost Empire. Meanwhile the Frost Empire has condemned the Izaakians saying, "The People have spoken in favor of remaining with the Empire and we will defend our territorial integrity from all outside threats."

Vimmru has called the Reizen independence referendum "not as conclusive as one would have hoped" due to its design, but that "out of the three options available to them [the Reizeners], most of them preferred to remain in the Empire rather than independence with either a socialist or capitalist government". Vimmru calls for additional negotiations on autonomy, as agreed in the Grovne Ceasefire of 2018.

The Ryccian Federation has congratulated the Frost Empire and the Reizen people for their "robust and democratic exercise of self-determination" in Reizen's referendum and refuses to recognize any independent Reizen state. Members of the provincial government of Reizen, the WPR and the central Government of the Frost Empire have agreed to meet in the Capital of Oured to discuss new terms over the autonomy of Reizen Province. The Provincial governmnet hopes to increase its autonomy in line with the rest of the Empire while the WPR hopes to increase their share of power by forging a new powersharing deal with the Empire. The Empire has kept its goals secret but analysts believe they will push for the status quo for Reizen Province.

Sallodesian President Smith has issued a statement concerning recent statements from various political heads of Pacifica: "While we accept the results of Reizen's referendum, there was room for improvement in its process. However, Reizeners have spoken out on the future they want. It's only the first step into rebuilding the nation and the situation requires a careful course of action for the coming years. Sallodesia's looking forward to see how the situation evolves and would like to help in any way it can to ensure a stable region in the Mediterranean. I also call upon all parties, both domestic and foreign, to not further agitate the precarious development and instead look for a compromise between the involved parties of the referendum."
