The flower's hand in marriage

Though it may not seem much, but this hotel is one of the most coziest and relaxing stays in the whole country.

Lister was brought to his room, and in front of him, a soft futon on the floor placed neatly and elegantly. It was a bit elevated by a brick foundation, but it didn't go so high. A wide living room also made an impression, actually the whole room made an impression to Lister, and seeing his confusion, agent Safa'a decided to explain.

"It may not be the beds like the one in other countries, the traditional method of bedding in The Peocracy is to sleep close to the land in order to maintain one's relations with the world. The futon may look uncomfortable due to its density comparing to other mattresses, but you would sleep so much easier than before. The brick foundation houses a stove, which would then allow the futon to be heated, making it comfortable and warm for the winter season.... Yes I see that expression the foreigners think it like a pan underneath a fire, but I urge you to try it."

Agent Aisyah placed Lister's bag on the table, and Agent Safa'a briefed Mr. Lister.

"So, take a break honorable guest, you have a living room, a kitchen, and a hot shower with a bath. You may exit from the regular route or exit to your own private courtyard. There are also several facilities in this hotel if you'd like to use them, a hot spring bath, a sauna, the dining hall, a gaming centre, a gym, a koi pond, the main courtyard, and an art's hall where you can see art performances every night at 8. This hotel is quite close to the national park, and various hawkers as well. In front of this hotel is a tea house, if you might be interested in tea. Me and my team shall leave it to you, and notify you when it's time to go. So please, relax yourself, you've had a long trip."

The other agents bowed, and left, as Agent Safa'a tried to exit, he looked at Mr. Lister one more time.

"Is there anything else we can help you with? We are at your disposal."

Sebastien did a poor job of hiding his excitement. In his mind he was already in a hot shower.

"I... No, I will be fine. Thanks" he answered, a bit uncomfortable with being pampered.

The moment his Huawanian hosts had closed the door behind them, he almost ran to the strange bed and threw himself down on it. It was clean and smelled nice.

He was about to go and inspect the shower when he realised how hungry he was. Maybe he could order some room service, like in the movies? But he was completely broke. Instead he took his bag and held it upside-down until his Sedunnic ration packs fell out and landed on the floor.

He still had a few left, leaving him with several meals to choose from. He picked one up. The label told him it was Sanndo Sall, some vegetarian stew or whatever. He picked up another. Fyldrem gji Omk. 'Drem' meant fish, and 'fyl' probably meant dill. Yeah, brilliant. Then he saw that red pack he had saved since last year, for a special occasion. Dimmyj! Almond paste cake with dried fruit, chocolate chunks and toffee topping!

Soon the hot water splashed pleasantly on the floor and the soothing steam hit his face. Sebasiten sat down on a chair he took from the kitchen and peeled off the plastic wrapping from his Dimmyj. Would the water ruin the chair? He didn't care.
