My previous suggestion modified with the suggestions provided:

The new continents would need some more detail added to the coasts not to look out of place.

Keep in mind that the closer to the poles, the larger distortion gets, meaning any land there looks bigger than it actually is. Here are some different views of the planet Pacfica:
