@Seraph confirmed to the CRS @Seraph (Erinor) was confirmed by the Assembly to join the Council on Regional Security with: 30 in Favour; 1 in Opposition; and 3 in Abstentions. Criminal Code Amendment passed An amendment to Article 1, Section 3 of the Criminal Code passed with: 23 in Favour; 3 in Opposition; and 13 in Abstentions. Judicial Act Amendment passed An amendment to Article 7 of the Judicial Act passed with 18 in Favour; 4 in Opposition; and 10 in Abstentions. Current Matters being Discussed @Ryccia has proposed an amendment to the Criminal Code, specifically relating to the crime of blackmail. @Amerion has put forward two proposals: (1) An amendment to the Charter to remove specific restrictions on the High Court’s jurisdiction and (2) an amendment to the Proscription Act to allow for appeals by regions or organisations to their proscriptions. Discussion is still ongoing within the Assembly as to whether or not to reduce the Election Commission from the three Commissioners to one Commissioner. The Assembly Publishing Office is a branch of the Office of the Chair of the Assembly. It serves as the main information arm of the legislature and provides materials related to the various functions of the Office for educational purposes.
