Belschaft Since the time to reach an opinion has been reduced to 8 days, does this mean we have 7 days left, or does it mean that the 8 days starts after the amicus briefs window ends? Since the amicus brief and recusal window run concurrently, I am inclined to the former option.

My understanding is that it's an eight day maximum so there's nothing stopping us having a ruling out ASAP
It's not a complicated case - if you want to draft something I'm happy for you to become primary
HS has already essentially written the ruling
