Nation Name: Darkstrait GDP (Please give nominal GDP in NSD): US$800 billion GDP per Capita: about US$50,000 Military Spending as Percentage of GDP: US$40 billion (5%) Description of Army: The standing army numbers about 75,000. 50% are standard soldiers, 5% are special forces, 15% are officers, 10% are artillery, 10% work with tanks and 15% are engineers or mechanics. Description of Air Forces: The air forces have about 20,000 pilots and 5,000 ground crew. Of the pilots, 50% are fighter pilots, 25% are bomber pilots, 15% are helicopter pilots, and 10% are transport pilots. Description of Navy: The navy is the largest by far of Darkstrait's military branches. The navy has 2 aircraft carriers, 5 battleships, 20 destroyers, 35 cruisers, 30 submarines, 50 light transports, and 75 patrol boats. The number of naval personnel is about 90,000.
