HS’s proposal abolishes the LC.

I know- I should rephrase that.

HS's proposal is for RMB reform. I was saying I support that, but not abolishing the LC.

What does RMB reform mean? There's infinite ways you can "RMB reform". That's why I proposed one way (with a few different options for how to do it).

Adding my opinion onto the subject matter of ‘abolishing the Local Council’
Now, I believe that abolishing the Local Council is a bad idea, however it would be beneficial to reorganize the Local Council. If the Local Council was designed to be the in-game government it should be just that, it should not be focused on suspending post, it should be focused on working upon in-game events, polls, etc. While reforming the Local Council, it would also be needed to form a new RMB Moderation Team.
It’s also worth bringing up the idea on atop the previous statement, that the Local Council could be formed into something as the Deputy Council, where as they are there to remind/inform people about the rules and ping the RMB Moderation Team.

I feel like Orcuo packages up what the 2022 Generation of people who have been pipelined from the RMB to the forums feel about the LC. I also support the essence behind Beepee's proposal and that is - linking the LC or what is to replace the LC more to The Delegate, rather than it being described as a moderation or a representative body. The idea that RMB moderation should be handled by the global moderation and administration staff is a good one if such a task would have enough staff to handle it.
However, I'd also like to bring up an issue that we'd face if we were to go with everything (including the appointment-based PM Cabinet) discussed up to this point: We don't have limitless RO slots.

Currently, the RO slots are allocated to: The Delegate, the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Engagement, LC, LC, LC, CRS, CRS, CRS, CRS, CRS.
I am curious to see what the community thinks the RO would look like in the event of these changes coming through? Maybe: The Delegate, the Prime Minister, CRS, CRS, CRS, CRS, CRS, Moderator, Moderator, Moderator, LC/Replacement, LC/Replacement?
Bottom line, something to keep in mind is that we don't have limitless Regional Officers. It's a game mechanic independent of us.

I think the ministers would need to have an admin role, so expanding a "local government" to 5 spots. Guaranteed spots are the Delegate, PM, and 5 CRS spots (I think). That's 7 taken up already.

If there would be five, I think it would have to go: Delegate, PM, CRS, CRS, CRS, CRS, LC/Mod, LC/Mod, LC/Mod, LC/Mod, LC/Mod, Minister. Then again, that is a lot of spots for a local government, which may not necessarily be a bad thing, but I'm just putting this out there.

Discussion of regional officer positions should be done so in a separate thread. Also, the Regional Officers Act lays out how these positions are allocated.

Another apparent problem with abolishing the Local Council lays in the fact that
A Local Council Account founded the region ‘Psomewhere Over the Rainbow’ as it was founded by the account ‘The South Pacifican Overlords of The
TSP Local Council

So abolishing the Local Council would then abolish/remove the leader of ‘Psomewhere Over the Rainbow

No it wouldn't. One has nothing to do with the other.

I understand that but still, it says we should abolish the Local Council, it doesn’t specifically say, ‘The Local Council in the TSP RMB’ it just says ‘The Local Council’
