Take Trivalve, he/she was pretty good, and now there a LC Also as to what they do, well basically they ping the LCs when needed, sure any of us can do that but it’s still nice that they volunteer to do it.

The deputy council has only existed for a couple of months.
I'd much rather see the deputy council abolished and instead have them be an informal group of well-established and respected nations who "warn" newer nations and rulebreakers that they need to "cut it out", cause it's not "funny, cute, or tolerated" and that they probably won't be in the region (or even the game) if they keep it up much longer. -Griffindor/Ebonhand

imo, any "Deputy" to the "Council" doesn't have to be legislated - especially not in the Charter - and can instead by created/abolished/regulated at the discretion of the main group

DC’s were created with the idea both as people that can help, and could be involved in the LC discussions to get an idea of how to do the job, and to help lead activities. There’s no set amount of them.

Chapter V of the Charter needs to be reformed almost completely.

If the LC does get abolished, then the "two terms LC" option will just be removed.
