Earlier this afternoon, a Techanerean Airlines flight crashed into the ocean within the borders of the country, with a miraculous amount 277 survivors, out of 280. The flight was headed to Esfalsa, the country opposite Techganet, and the Bureau of Aviation Accidents is now investigating the crash.

Ryccia's legislative body has allowed for campuses to bring in armed police, guards and, in extreme cases, military personnel if there have been violent demonstrations by students or outside agents in the past.

This evening President Ahilm Abchoy declared war on the Grand Principality of Martigues, as a result of leaked documents regarding about the assassins that assassinated former and deceased President Nick Forb, and how one of them managed to get elected as Prime Minister. The nation is now in its full-on defense mode, immigration and customs have been closed down and by the end of the next 2 hours, the military is expected to be mobilized and penetrate into Martiguesian territory.

In response to the declaration of war by Techganet on the Grand Principality of Martigues, the Defence forces of Volaworand have gone onto high alert and Parliament has been recalled into Special Session to formulate a response.  The Government of Volaworand is alarmed at the prospect of war and calls on all parties to cease hostilities.
