In response to the Bruuman attack on Ryccian ships, the Ryccian Navy has ordered the few Bruuman POWs rescued from the submarine attack tortured and executed.

In a surprise attack 36 fighters dropped fire bombs on Bafuto Serevai territory in Northern Ramica (including a position near where the explosion happened that killed 31 Gianlucian soldiers a few days ago). The number of killed rebels and eventual civilian casualties is currently not known, instead it's known that every fighter came back to their respective bases in GI-Land without slight damage.

President Davis attended the funeral today of an Alton man who died on 30 December in Alton City. She also appeared in court today for being caught driving under suspension, now they know it was her and not someone who looked like her, on 24 July, even though she was being held hostage at the time and forced to do it. She was fined 100 Dropiras.
The Frost Empire firmly denounced Ryccia's barbaric actions against Bruuman POWs. One Military official stated, "We firmly refuse to stoop to the level of barbarians and make martyrs of any Prisoner in Frost Custody. Gianluca IV. again called up the Ryccian ambassador to GI-Land after the barbaric act of executing POWs of the enemy on Sereva. "The current relationship status is 'pretty tensed up', to say it nicely", said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a brief statement.

The Elector Primo was asked in a late night TV interview last night if he had anything to say about the ryccia actions in regards to POWs. He simply said "there's nothing I can say. I encourage the WF, as my government has since it's creation, to establish clear rules of war, but Ryccia has done what it has done." When pressed for further comment on if neutrality would be abandoned he said "of course not"

The Imperial Frost Navy has launched a naval offensive aimed at cutting off the Northern Bruuman Base. The planned blockade has military analysts speculating on whether or not the attempt to cut off Bruuman supply lines in the North is a prelude to a larger ground offensive.
