The new Izaakian Transport Minister has announced that 2 high speed rail links cantered on Izaakston will be built over the forthcoming Austral summer.
HS1 will run from Polar City in the south to New Mako in the north, via Izaakston. Crossing the Mako straights in a under sea tunnel.
HS2 will run along the coast from border to border.

Current Prime Minister Kilaui Kuri has stated that Izaakia's efforts on the Climate Convention is "admirable," but "ultimately not something that should go forward due to circumventing the World Forum and not really allowing delegates to discuss the terms of the treaty together."

Prime minster Valkyrie Mountbatten commented on the Ha’Coron’Puani kokostali statement, saying “Perhaps if Ha’Coron’Puani Komostali focused less on his dinner and enlarging his already considerable posterior he would perhaps realise the significant impact climate change would have on his small island nation.”

Prime Minister Barrett has sacked Kanye Baker as Technology Minister, Jacob Cumberbatch as Minister for Science and Ebenezer Bond as Culture Minister after rape accusations were brought against them. She has replaced Baker and Cumberbatch with Dr. Jonathan Osterman and Bond with Rex Santos.

Vice-President Ortega has announced he will be funding two holiday resorts to help them survive the period of restrictions which is still in place.

Upon being asked about Valkryie Mountbatten's comments regarding FiHami, President Lindon stated that "Those comments were unacceptable, really. It's elitist, classist, condescending, and really makes me not want to do any business with Izaakia if their leader is that unprofessional."

In other news, skirmishes are still ongoing between People's Prarie revolutionaries and the Prariean Guard. The Prariean Air Force has begun dropping tear gas and grenades on revolutionaries.

Prime minsiter Valkyrie Mountbatten shrugged off the comments by President Lindon, saying, “I’m not going to concern myself with the opinions of a Tyrant”. Furthermore she condemned the use of military air power on civilians, and will be implementing trade sanctions on the government of North Prarie.

Ha'Coron' Puani Kokostali has condemned the Prime Minister of Izaakia for misgendering her and "Extremely offensive remarks" about her body.

The ministers are currently discussing amongst themselves on whether to implement trade and travel sanctions.

When asked for comment, the Chief replied, "I work hard to maintain my body for my modeling career and my fashion design dream. I will NOT let some jerk overseas calling me a fat man go unanswered. Calling a woman a man is one of the highest insults, isn't it? I can legally slap that jerk with one of those fish now, right?"*

* In Finixi culture, comparing a woman to a man was often repaid by the victim slapping the perpetrator with a large, flat fish as it conveys the message "If I'm a man then you're twice the man", a grievous insult. Modern-day Men's Rights movements are attempting to end the use of these insults in modern Finixi culture.

In a spontaneous protest in Atlantis, Angelhaven, Westtor and Südtor by feminist groups, hundreds of people - mostly of younger age and often of female sex and gender - were slapping each other with fish. Foreign minister Sanddorn (Green party) was supporting those protests, while AVP-leader Triton von Atlantis was complaining about fish having gotten to waste by this "unnecessary protest".

The Gianlucian government also wants to check, if the World Forum can intervene into the North Prariean conflict after the government used war tactics against its populace. "Using war tactics against civilians is highly questionable. North Prariean officials should not act surprised, if they are invited to the International Court for this", chancellor Kirchmann expressed his thoughts.
