Debate is on the floor of the Parliament of Kosbareland to change the electoral law to allocate some seats to Kosbareland living abroad. This proposal by the Alliance for Democracy is met with some reserve, mostly from the Orange Party, which has only elected members in the Suidkus region, believing this proposal would "diminish the potential political power of regional political parties in favour of major national political parties".

During endurance testing for the new Small Orbital Rocket , support structures for the test facility in ISAB Cape Montacia failed, causing catastrophic failure. Tremors from the explosion were picked up on seismometers as far away as Brödmark, with perceptible tremors in La Citadelle. Nobody was injured in the test failure. A spokeswoman from the ISA said “while this failure will cause some delays to the program, the failure is believed to be part of the supporting structure and not the rocket, a full investigation will be carried out before future tests”

The United Atlantic Space Agency has confirmed that one of the nation's satellites have been destroyed by an unknown object. Reports from the UASA and the United Atlantic Space Command (Part of the UA Air Force) state that the object seemed to be some kind of anti satellite weapon. No nation or terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack. The satellite in question was a high-tech telescope meant for deep space observation.
