Izaakian government invests and initial $11.2 Billion in a developing a state of the art vertical farm in an abandoned quarry. The farm will be the largest of its kind in the world and the worlds largest structure by volume. The aim of the structure is to assist the governments long held ambitions to make the Izaakian Keyli territories less dependent on foreign imports for food.

The Royal Peonic Navy of Huawan has won a contract with the Elan Navy for the commission of 12 Touhou-Class 12th Gen Corvettes, 5 Ran-Class 8th Gen Battle Cruisers and 4 Kobayashi-Class 4th Gen Nuclear submarines and 2 of the newest Kobayashi-Class 5th Gen Nuclear Submarines. One of the most ambitious and lucrative deals for Peonic combat vessels.

Prime minister Valkyrie Mountbatten was caught on microphone backstage on Politics Today calling Huawan “Money grabbing undemocratic bastards with no backbone or scruples” relating to the deal to sell warships to Ela.
The prime minister denied the comments, saying they were taken out of context and the recording was taken without her knowledge and permission. Calling Huawan “Close allies, with strong cultural ties” before stating her opposition to the Huawan-Ela deal.
