When asked about the Ryccian threat a Frost trader returning from Kosbareland said, "Leave it to the Ryccians to think with a gun instead of their heads. Instead of thinking of shipping weapons by air or even going to the International court for arbitration, they instead want to shoot every frost ship for warning Ryccians to stay away. I don't agree with my government on this, but at least they don't have a shoot first ask questions later policy like the ryccians."

Several Gianlucian trade vessels have reported, that the military ships supposed to conduct exercises in Frost waters have been seen near Besern seemingly heading to Transsuneria. The Ministry of Defense has not commented on this yet.

The Alterran Department of Foreign Affairs has issued firm statements of disapproval to the Frost Empire for 'unilaterally blockading Izaakian ships from transporting legally-purchased weapons to be given to Romordian freedom fighters'. The Alterran Government has made no official military move regarding the issue, but the Eastern Squadron, composed of eight Type-01 destroyers and four Type-02 air defense frigates, has been reportedly preparing to leave its home port at Port McDonnell, which is along the Transcrabrian Sea.

The following is a list of temporary trade restrictions against Izaakia and Rhayna set to be introduced effective next week by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

List of temporary trade restrictions effective 22 Nov

• Increased tariffs on Izaakian and UPRAN goods by 10%
  
• Import quotas to be introduced on Izaakian and UPRAN goods no more than 80% of the amount of current imports
  
• Sanctions to be placed on officials of the Governments of Izaakia and the UPRAN
  
• Port tax to increased on ships that are either;
  • Izaakian-flagged/owned or Rhaynan-flagged/owned;
    
  • Carrying in its cargo more than 75% of goods produced by Izaakian or UPRAN companies; and
    
  • Have a crew that is more than 85% Izaakian/Rhaynan (excluding those with permanent residency in Besern)
    
• Partial restrictions on entering ports for ships meeting the criteria above where no more than 70% of current ship traffic from these two countries may enter (except if it's an emergency)
  
• Export control and restraints to be introduced for Besernian companies registered with Companies House
  
• Subsidies for Besernian companies willing to cut dependency on Izaakia and UPRAN goods
  
• Workforce movement restrictions for citizens of Izaakia and the UPRAN (excluding those already or former permanent residents)
  
• Import licenses to be introduced on some categories of goods from Izaakia and the UPRAN
  
• Subsidies to be introduced for companies willing to "fill the void that could be left behind by these restrictions"
  
• Relief aid schemes to be introduced for industries that could be heavily impacted by these restrictions
  
• Temporary ban on weapons trade and other military equipment to Izaakia and the UPRAN
  

This is the second recent trade barrier imposed by the Ministry of Trade and Industry after the stricter one imposed on Nicholas and Great Britain in compliance with the recently passed Esfalsan proposal in the World Forum.
