Minister of Defense Recke has expressed his disappointment over the recently concluded meeting with Izaakian officials.
"There was no room for compromise and, unlike with the delegation of Ryccia, not even the slightest willingness to see the point of the other side. It is unfortunate, but an agreement between our countries has to be postponed indefinitely."

Upon the urging of the Commonwealth Agency for International Development (CAID), the organization responsible for carrying out government-led humanitarian relief efforts, the Alterran Air Force has opened four airfields and three air bases in northwest Alterra to Izaakian aircraft to evacuate Romordian refugees and citizens from N&GB. Humanitarian aid and camps are being set up at the landing sites, and the Air Force has pledged to protect all 'refugee-carrying aircraft' once they enter Alterran airspace.
The Minister of Defence has approved a humanitarian mission for aiding Rhayna in the evacuation of Romodorians and other refugee-seeking persons.
Furthermore, after careful consideration, the sanctions on the UPRAN will be put on hold and will not go into effect until further notice, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs stating "now we finally realise". Sanctions on Izaakia will continue to be pending and will still go into effect on 22 Nov. |
