Following his election as Speaker of the World Forum Assembly, Robert Sontheimer has resigned all official Esfalsan government positions. Chancellor Levi Herdes has yet to nominate a replacement to serve as Esfalsan ambassador to the WF.
King and Leader Gianluca IV has congratulated Sontheimer on behalf of the Gianlucian government to his election as Speaker of the WF. "We are looking forward working together with you on improving our world more", he added.

The Viscountess Noor Aqaba is to retire from WF politics following her speakership. She has decided not to retake her position as Izaakian ambassador to the WF, and the interim ambassador Gustave Graves will become the Permanent Ambassador. When asked about her future she merely said she needed time to reflect, and decide on where she will focus her career.

The Government has announced the Peaks Battery Project in the old world territories, a similar project to the Capital Battery Project in the Snowborn Alps. 6 new dams will be built to even out energy supply, and meet peak demand, whilst at points of low demand water will be pumped back up the dam into the reservoir.
