President Blanc appoints Amadeus Pond as finance minister, after several months in the role herself. Amadeus Pond is an 74 year old tenured professor at New Mako University and Izaakias most famous modern economist. In a speech outside the Presidents residence Fin House, he outlined his desire to reform and modernise Izaakia’s economic system and government finance, increasing spending efficiency in order to release funds to transform the nation.

Izaakian armed forces have secured the majority of N&GBs nuclear warheads and are preparing them for shipment to Izaakia. Locating the remaining warheads is the top priority for the Occupation Forces, however, difficulties are arising because most of the related records have been destroyed.

Members of an anti-nuclear organization have petitioned the frost empire to firmly condemn any attempts by Izaakia to assimilate the NaGB’s nuclear arsenal. A frost assemblyman supporting the TPNW ratification bid also feared that Izaakia’s decision to ship the warheads back for unknown reasons will start another nuclear arms race.

The "misinformation" on social media in the Central Bailtemmic Republic has been identified as a sexual assault allegation made by actress Luo Yunzhu against a senior government official. Luo has since retracted her statements and has not been seen in public since.
The Izaakian Occupation Forces have ordered all N&GB soldiers not under investigation into the fields to harvest crops across the nation. When questioned on the wisdom of this policy Defence Minister Kim said “Idle hands make the devils work and empty bellies make for restless souls.”

Izaakian weapons scientists have examined the N&GB arsenal, and concluded that the warheads are inelegant but highly effective. They have made the decision to dismantle the warheads and bury the waste at a facility in a geologically conducive region of the Izaakian far south beneath thousands of meters of ice.

The Gianlucian government expresses relief over Izaakia's decision to dismantle the seized nuclear warheads. "Of course we'd have appreciated a cooperation with the PNA, but either way the number of nuclear warheads will be reduced on this world. This is a step into the right direction", explained minister of foreign affairs Strunk on BUS TV News.
