An archeological team from the University of Reræ announced the finding of what are believed to be human remains dated to around 21 000 BC. The bones have been dated using the radiocarbon dating methode at the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Jurgen Ert. This finding predates the finding of a settlement near Selpe, which was dated to 40 BC, revealing a whole now chapter of Efladian history.

New environment minister Walter Rombold has made an immediate impact as environment Secretary by saying that the native Keya’Iluti peoples of Keylian Izaakia are an essential part of the natural Keylian ecosystem, and that under his tenure changes will be made to recognise this fact, and make payments to tribes who manage their land traditionally and sustainably.

Nova Colradian Interim Government Leaders have proposed a new province map for Nova Colradia. New Mako Universities Institute for Technology have invented a hydrogen fuel cell that doesn’t require a platinum catalyst, instead utilising iron, carbon and nitrogen for the same effect. Although challenges to widespread use of this technology need to be overcome, it provides an opportunity to reduce the cost of hydrogen fuel cells by as much as 60%.

The Ryccian-Autocrat offensive in Valora continues. Ryccian marines have landed near Slateport, an important industrial city in the country held by the constitutionalists. The Ryccian Navy is bombarding the city, with the military stressing that it is only seeking to strike "military targets". Constitutionalist officials in the city have confirmed that the Ryccian bombardment is not targeting civilians, but they accuse the autocrat-aligned Valoran Air Force of firebombing the outskirts of the city indiscriminately.
