ProfessorHenn on Tapatalk.
In the real world, DST was a fuel saving measure by the germans in WWI.

Yep. You americans and other people who use DST lose one hour of sleep thanks to Germany.

I'm not sure that's entirely accurate. Anyway, you get the hour back. What's everyone's problem with daylight savings time?

Do we have to? I hate UTC and I like DST. That should be up to each nation.

Entirely up to each individual nation, but those that do use DST will have to make time corrections for themselves.

DST for me is a big no-no. The Government Island is just 25 degrees away from the equator, so the winters won't be much shorter anyway.
I also do not like EST. Firstly, it is America-centric, and secondly, it is way less practical than using UTC as the prime meridian time zone.
Now that I am thinking about it, we really should occupy ourselves more with the topic of the planet's orbital characteristics (axis tilt, rotational period, orbital period etc.) and the time-related subjects (year length, day length, month system etc.).

How about a 28 hour day and an 8 day week?
Hypothetically.

We need more opinions to establish that.

Lol. Many people have RPed under the assumption that we run a 24/7 day week.

Well, then, we can just start RPing differently.

That will be a crazy change from what we know to something completely different
