Nomination of a vice delegate
#11

I know Sam was fielding some questions last night on IRC, but I'm glad people are asking questions of him here.

I have no doubt he'll impress you all as he has me.

I'm sorry to see Pen go but would like to welcome Sam's nomination. As someone who doesn't really use IRC, I'd like to hear something from Sam on the forum though.

I agree with Hop on this. I dont use IRC and have not seen Sam on the forum, so I would like to hear from Sam before i can say yes to the nomination.

Just one issue---

Sam is also on the Local Council. We would have to find someone to fill his seat.

I suggest very strongly that we look to RMB natives such as Bear Connors, Alice Parker, or Curlyhoward to fill his post, instead of appointing another full-time forumite.

That's a topic for another thread. We still need to have him speak here, have Faren win the election for CoA in about 37 minutes, and hold a vote. Better keep it in mind anyways.

Actually it's 2 hours and 28 minutes now.

I have no issues with Sam's candidacy though.

Right, sorry, mixed up 24h/12h time. Phone said "17:53", I thought it said "7:53 pm".

Makes sense - that's what the Local Council is for, after all. I don't frequent the RMB and all of those names are familiar still.

I'd like to hear from Sam as well, about his experience and his vision for the position (his own and what he has discussed with Tsu). I'm sure we'll find him satisfactory.

I would just like to apologise for not responding to questions yet. I'm in the middle of exams, and I've spent all of today studying for a maths exam. I've got a physics exam tomorrow, too, but that's my last one. I will answer all of the questions tomorrow at the latest, but possibly a little bit later tonight, depending on how I feel about my physics exam.
