"Got you! I knew you had an ace!" King Vimmru smiled childishly at his wife, Aenn.
"Yeah, yeah. Of course you did." Aenn dropped her cards on the table between them and looked Vimmru in his eyes. Vimmru had been so busy the last two years. International politics, sigh. It was hard for them to find time to spend together, her work as head teacher did not help. "We will be landing in 20 minutes. One more game?" Vimmru checked his watch again. Aenn did not answer and continued to look Vimmru in his eyes. They both smiled, happy to be together. The timing of the party could not have been better. They both needed a break, but could they really relax? Almost every important national leader in the region was going to attend. In Sedunn, especially among government officials, there was a "calm before the storm" feeling. Hopefully this was going to be a pleasant experience, a break from the worst sides of politics. On the other side of the aisle, the foreign minister and his wife were both absorbed by a novel. They both read the same book, but had one copy each. They had been reading constantly since take-off. Suddenly the plane hit some turbulence, and the foreign minister looked out the window. The turbulence stopped quickly, and he rested his eyes on the escorting fighter on his side of the air plane. A Hotvemm fighter as usual. He had seen them a million times over the last year. Or at least it felt like it. He was just about to return to his book when the fighter started to break off. He did not have wonder why for long. The captain, flying the government plane, declared that they were approaching Hammerstarian territory and that they should fasten their seatbelts. They would soon arrive at the party.

The party goes on in the Lux Universus, celebrating the 165th Basil Day. Both Paladins had talked with many people in the event, and to be frank, they were a bit tired. A lot of local and international ministers to greet, and keeping track of the words that they used. They stood next to each other behind a pillar outside. Where they glanced at the moon to rest before going back to the event.
"How was it?" asked High Paladin Dietrich. "My hands are a bit sweating if I'm honest." responded Hannelore "Me too, it isn't something that I had done before." said Dietrich. "I don't get it, we talked to a lot of delegates from our Vassal states and Longtime Allies. It went so smoothly, but this.." "We don't really know about these leaders, this is our first time talking to them face to face. Our mind would need to think a bit so that we can choose the correct words." Said Dietrich The High Paladin looked at her date, who shed a single tear. The man rubbed the tear off her. "You should mend that makeup." Suggested Dietrich "I am not wearing any, Dietrich." responded Hannelore "I knew it..." "Hm?" "I knew that when I looked at your smile at the other delegates, it was sincere and pure, beautiful, truthful. Hannah, I don't think we project fake smiles, and you won't believe how many people I've seen that gave a fake smile... I guess it is in our nature to not lie." "A Knight never lies." responded Hannelore Trump with a naughty smile. The High Paladin chuckled. "I guess this is the best time, we don't really know a lot of people, and this may be the best chance for them to know us. Who is Hammerstar." "I agree." Dietrich held Hannelore's hand, and they came back inside the party to converse with the other heads of state. He was wondering about the other delegacies, which is still en-route to Luce. The two paladins really wanted to talk with the leaders from Bonaugure concerning Project West, they would also like to talk with the leaders of The Sanghelios Legion concerning their duel system. They had wanted to get those technical conversations away, so that the two paladins could relax and enjoy the show. Meanwhile, a motorbike made its way through the city of Luce. It was quite long, and judging from the structure of the motorcycle, it could be deemed that it was military. A man rode through the city, en-route to the Lux Universus. He was called in by the High Paladin to attend the event, though he was quite pre-occupied with a couple of issues abroad, he still made time to attend the party, he believes that this could be the only chance he can to meet with his girlfriend, before he would need to continue matters abroad. The attack bike arrived in the Lux Universus, and the man took off his gear. Revealing a tux that he wore, it was steamed and bulletproof, a bit of an odd taste, but remembering his field of work, being bulletproof is a requirement. He walked to the Lux Universus, and instead of going to the party, he made his way through the empty halls to the tulip garden. Where his girlfriend waited for him. When they exchanged looks, they immediately hugged each other. The man really wanted to kiss his girlfriend, but certain conditions made him... unable to do such actions. They decided that it was time to go in, and meet with the other heads of state. With him being the strongest military commanders in Hammerstar, and his girlfriend being one of the most influential leaders in Hammerstar, coincidentally she used to be the High Paladin before abdicating due to personal reasons. Before they came, the man decided that he would wear a masquerade mask. His relationship with his girlfriend was not disclosed to anyone, and that they were waiting for the right time to come clean. After wearing the masquerade mask, they got in. The Host asked them: "I'm sorry Fluorspar Paladin, but you are not in the list." "Please add us, for tonight, we are representatives from La Regal Condottieri."

The President of the Council and Head Minister of Home Affairs, Vincent Ferrer, his wife, Head Minister of Foreign Affairs, Erika Tachibana; and Head Minister of Finance, Industry and Economic Affairs Enrique Blair with his wife, professor Tasha Blair; as well as their respectives swishes (bailiffs) were now mid-air, discussing about the topics to attend at the celebrations and any possible preparation they had to do beforehand.

Vincent Ferrer: "But she's the Vice-president of the Council, it's her job take to care of it and the country whilst we're away." Tasha Blair: "However, we can phone her if there's anything new that might be of her interest." A few more minutes pass until they land at Luce Airport. Then, Ambassador Luke Afolayan and Envoy Amber Toulouse observe them walk down the Aurora AF1.
Amber Toulouse: "Do you think they haven't changed since last time we met." Luke Afoloyan: "Knowing them, they might still be carefree.. like always." Erika Tachibana: "¡De bon augure, mes chers!" Luke Afoloyan: "De bon augure, ma amie. Here you have the mobiles and equipment you asked." Amber Toulouse: "De bon augure, maîtresse."—having her cheeks being pinched by Tachibana—"The limousine and convoy are ready." Vincent Ferrer: "Fine, let's get going. We don't want to be any later." Finally, after a quick drive, they walk out the limousine and into the Lux Universus.
