Revisiting CAIN
#11

Yeah, I'm totally happy to ditch CAIN now.

Indeed, as was already noted, CAIN's last actual operation was, literally, me. As in, I found the target, planted a sleeper beforehand, WA locked myself for a week pretending to be a fake german (as opposed to a real one, which was fun), yelled at people to send pilers (which they ended up doing but it was a drag), set everything up for a flash refound with Tim's help, who then got the refound.

We have been doing fashbashes primarily through Ruining Nazi Sandcastles, which is a much less political approach. Militarily, RNS is a more successful approach. But what makes its success there is also, in a way, it's problem - it's absolutely not political at all, and therefore not an attractive avenue for Euro or TNP. Maybe a middle ground can be found here if RNS sets up a separate hierarchy for regional leadership vs. military leadership without compromising what's good about it.

Anyway, our options are just outright leave, or to just not agree to whatever change is proposed next (whenever that is) which would automatically make us leave. Either way should be fine and diplomatic blowback can be minimized.

No doubt that half of NSGP will engage in bad faith defamation by saying we don't care about Nazis-- they're doing it to TGW already whenever they liberate.

PR-wise, we have the upper hand. A statement would include how CAIN was nothing without the SPSF's operational command, and that we've already moved to a better, more cooperative antifa group. Nothing is going to stop the likes of Rach or Cormac or whoever in Euro from bashing us. But that's no reason to stay in.

Ditto to basically everything that's been said.

CAIN is dead. Brunhilde the person who was the person who organised it's founding, led it and basically created it has even admitted it's as good as dead. When she ran for Pres. In Euro she said in her campaign that if her administration could not salvage CAIN that term she would have Euro withdraw from it. Cat who elected but resigned a week later took slightly weaker spot but basically said if CAIN could not be salvage it may be time for Euro to leave. I don't really know Gleg's thinking behind it but I think it would be similar.

There is no reason for TSP to stay in, I think we'll do a better job fighting Nazi's on our own and not in a very dysfunctional group. Plus it means I can have a follow up on this article. Tounge

Totally agree with what's been said, let's quit the bureaucracy and keep bashing the fash without the having to deal with all the red tape. TNP's done it, we can do it, so let's have at it.

Considering we were only staying in to help prop it up as a favour to Euro, I see literally no reason for us to remain.

I think we all got distracted and forgot this. We all seem to be in agreement and hopfuly the Deputay CoA can move this to a vote and so:

I formally motion a vote on the repeal of The Coalition Against the Ideology of Nazism (CAIN) Treaty.

Legally this has to come from the Cabinet, so stop seconding Roa and propose this there.
