While I am all but certain that you will see fit to ‘elect’ me as your Supreme Chair, it is traditional that I outline my glorious vision for this esteemed body so as to politely but firmly convince by means of persuasion which may or may not involve an involuntary vacation by a select number of loved ones to my secret volcano lair in order to encourage any dissident harbouring treacherous second thoughts of the best choice they will make in their potentially short existence.

A ping a vote keeps the LegComm away

(1) At the commencement of the voting period, Legislators will receive a:

ping in the Legislators' Lounge on the Discord server with information pertaining to the vote; and
notice to their registered TSP nation with both the relevant information as well as a copy of the bill being voted on.

(2) Approximately 24 hours before the vote is scheduled to close, the Chair will send a direct message on Discord to those individuals who have yet to cast a vote.

(3) Following the conclusion of the vote, the result will be announced in the appropriate threads as well as through a ping in the Legislators' Lounge.

Gameside presence

In my previous term, the Office of the Chair maintained a gameside nation which was used to inform Legislators of current votes. It was, I believe, a logical way to reach out to those among us who did not necessarily frequent Discord. This gameside presence will be renewed and renovated under my dictatorship.

With a focus on a centralised dispatch service, Legislators will be able to access a one-stop-shop of all pertinent information including, but not limited to a Legislators' Guide, the MATT-DUCK law archive, a roster of both current government officials and Legislators, and an Assembly Gazette.

In particular, the Assembly Gazette will be the primary information portal for Assembly proceedings. A weekly briefing will be published in the Gazette which will detail the legislative events of the prior week and note the matters currently at hand which Legislators should be aware of.

Conflict of Interest — Disclosure

Present

I am a citizen in The South Pacific, The Rejected Realm, The West Pacific, and Lazarus.

I hold two official positions; Cabinet Advisor in The South Pacific and Court Justice in Lazarus.

Former

I was previously a citizen in every GCR with the exception of The Pacific and Balder and held minor positions in The North Pacific and Osiris (where I believe I am banned from), as well as a wide variety of posts in Lazarus. I was also recently a citizen of Europeia.

In addition, I am apparently a defender because of that one time I joined The Grey Wardens. Unfortunately, my time in The Black Hawks does not afford me similar acknowledgement as a raider even though I was committed to both with equal fervency. Tounge

There has been a dearth of questions to your Darth self...

As a result, and once again, it's left to me to ask the hard hitting, probing questions to discover your true intentions.

So, with that in mind, let me ask you this...

When you are elected Chair you will take your rightful place as the regions most powerful Admiral General. Do you intend to excise those who dont 'write-in' seraph on their delegate election ballot from the roster of legislators?

What issues do you see in the Assembly that would need to be addressed during the coming term? I say issues, but consider that to be anything from legislative standards and formatting to new and innovative ideas on how bills are considered to anything else that would make the functioning of the Assembly more effective.

Warning: this question may be borne out of my own ignorance

There seems to be a number of proposals and debates that haven't moved onto a vote or there has been no public notice of any vote (or the outcome of some closed votes). Are you happy with how efficiently the Assembly is operating and/or the level of transparency for those who engage more in gameside activity?

Do you vow, as Chair, to fully accept the light-blue and orange colour scheme and to never deviate from it towards your preferred dark-blue and yellow?
