The main anchor shall be abreviated as MA, the side anchor as SA, and the Sports Profession as SP. Any other professionals shall be labeled by name.
*Intro Music*
MA: Welcome everyone, to HNN, news at eight and let's dive into today's stories. SA, If your be so kind as to rattle off the election results.
SA: Of course, MA. Results are in for the Presidential election. With 166,430,000 votes and a whopping 89% of the popular vote is Fifth time running President Markeretik. His opponent, Renaulds Reirickeon only getting 11% of the vote.
MA: Thank you, SA. Now onto our sports for the day. SP?
SP: Alright MA, well construction on the new Valencian stadium for football has been completed, with the first game selling out in tickets. In it the Laketon Ligers trounced the Hintonia Hawks 23 - 9, with Leif Erikson scoring incredible long range kicks over the heads of the enemy and into the goal. Worthy mention of Deressa Gulfton who on several occasions successfully intercepted Erikson and kicked the ball out.
MA: What have we got for the game on Tuesday?
SP: Looks like it's the Gracian Graffers against the Hawks for bronze in the championship qualifiers. The game starts at 12:30 pm, expected to last until 2:30. Then the stadium is being cleared out for a minor league game at 3, until 5.
MA: Alright seems packed down there in Valencia, I'm rooting for the Hawks to pull it back.
SP: Me too, MA.
MA: And now to our main story of the day. A Laketon man was reportedly assaulted by his neighbor with a fishing rod after a despute over who's catch a particularly large bass was, as they both had their hooks in it. This strikes question of whether the government will implement a system to stop these petty rivalries and regulate the  fishing industry, as well as setting limits on how many Bailtem Bass can be caught, as they are dying out in the region due to overfishing.
SP: Sounds bad for those fish, I for one being a staunch liberal hope the government steps in to save the beautiful species of Bailtem Bass.
MA: My main concern is with the government regulation of the industry and how it will affect other related industries like Fish Processing and Dining. Anyway, that's all we have for the day, and hope you check in with us tommorow, for more news! I've been (MA) and this is HNN. Goodnight

The government of Republik Hintonia announces the NX-400 Rocket Interceptor, capable of going Mach 1. The NX-400 is capable of being equipped with:

4 RL-32 Rack Launchers, 2 per wing, holding 4 NRG-67 Heat Seeking missiles for use against missiles, yes, missiles, and possibly aircraft.
Or
4 RG-67 Radar guided missiles, also capable of being remotely controlled and targeted using ground installations.
Or
2 G-FRAG Rocket Launcher racks holding 16 heat seeking NRGMINI-67 Heat seeking missilets.

If none of those armaments work out, there is always the frontal mounted 20mm cannon and the 5mm chain autofire guns on the front and tips of the wing respectively
The NX-400 gets its name from the NX-400 Rocket it is built upon. The NX-400 is an experimental Nuclear Gas Propellent rocket engine, difficult to accommodate on large scales. But on a smaller scale, the heat generated is manageable and able to be used almost forever, refilling water supplies by opening a pair of chutes that scoop up water from clouds.
The NX-400 rocket uses a miniature nuclear fission reaction to react water into O2, and H. The O2 is fed to the pilot, while the H is ejected out the back as a superheated gas, launching the craft at incredible speed. Due to limitations of the Craft's frame, it can only safely accelerate to Mach 1. It could potentially accelerate the craft to Mach 3, but that literally rip the wings off the aircraft.

The primary use of the NX-400 rocket Interceptor, as the name suggests, will be interception. Specifically of ICBMs or High Altitude Strategic Bombers (HASB's). The government proudly announces that this fearsome weapon of war is already in prototype testing, and it's only a matter of time before Republik Hintonia will be immune to ICBMs.

The balcony where the President was making a speech has been blown up by a concealed explosive. Analysts think it was timed to detonate at the end of the speech, but the president got an emergency Senate meeting alert to discuss the matter of the spreading of a foreign disease, GID-20. The speech started at 3:00 pm, and was slated to end thirty minutes later. But the president got the Senate summons at 3:27 pm, so thankfully a national tragedy was averted.

No groups have stepped up to claim the assassination attempt, but popular speculators speculate it might've been Paulrice de Graffe, a disgraced and scandaled senator who, after the Vera Incident, was put to a vote to impeach him for gross corruption and political courting. The impeachment proceedings was headed by the president himself, but fell one vote short, maybe due to possible bribes handed out by de Graffe. Whatever the reasons for it, de Graffe has publically shown his displeasure toward the president. He would have probable reason to try his hand at assassination.

Authorities assure the news that the matter is being investigated, but most media has already cropped up with conspiracy theories behind the assassination attempt. To name a few, there is people saying:

It was de Graffe, thirsting for revenge.
Authoritarian Terrorists, for obvious reasons.
The Purple Meadow Cultists, who the president has suppressed multiple times
Big Corporations displeased with the president's ban on Corporation lobbyists having a place in the Senate
And the most wild of all, the President did it himself. Yes, some conspiracy theorist believe he somehow influenced events to get someone to try to assassinate him, while having an inside man informing him the time that the bomb has gone off and then conveniently being called away, to boost his imagine as an untouchable suave president who always seems to dodge a bullet. (Spoiler alert, it might be this one)

57 cases of the new parasite GID-20 has been reported in Hintonia City, mostly near the harbour area. An additional 14 cases have been confirmed nation wide. People are advised to wear masks, and rubber gloves as well as minimize skin to skin contact with other people. Residents are also advised to purchase canned foods or packaged foods, that way the parasite cannot slip into the them easily.

In a statement yesterday the president said: 'This pandemic is no worse than any other. Just stay away from others, stay protected and use reliable sources of food and water and everything shall be fine.'

Many Hintonians are still alive and remember vividly the Ligerpox outbreak two decades ago, where natural Liger herds had a mutated version of a virus omnipresent within their bodies, that had mutated to infect humans. The pox killed 34,000 people and left 78,000 more with an aftereffect medical sydrome called 'Extracoopular Extrapacation' in which they required regular doses of the vaccine for Liger Pox to keep their liver running, which the pox had already integrated with. Only 1,400 active cases of EE remain.

But this new parasite threatens to spread violently, especially within the lower class apartments where sanitation is low and food is often left in unsavory rooms easy to be contaminated. More shall be reported when the situation developes.

The new parasite has been spreading quickly in Hintonia City, now with 134 confirmed cases. The entire Porter quarter and the harbour area has been quarantined off to prevent spread. Also, any foreign food being imported is to be rigorously disinfected. During the outbreak the restaurant business has been hit hard, as people fear gathering in large groups, especially including possibly contaminated food. The Senate will convene tomorrow on passing an emergency public safety bill, closing all public stores deemed to be non essential to every day life, especially places like restaurants.

The president gave a speech, which almost Noone attended but did watch it live on TV, in which he said:
"These trying times of outbreak must remind us all of days gone by. And in remembering, we must remember how  we got through it and perservered, and emerged to live normal lives again!"

The GID situation seems to have calmed down today, relatively with 147 confirmed active cases, although 11 deaths. This is largely in part due to the senates swift action in quarantining off the infected sections and banning imported foreign food, at least for the time being. That being said, there is no effective treatment to remove the parasite other than a painfully expensive surgery with a 34.7% chance of death. Seems Noone has opted to try that yet, except one very desperate rich man who caught the parasite. It is expected that while in the other sections of the city, life will go back to normal, in the quarantined zones the parasite runs rampant among the poor and unsanitary rundown tenaments. Humanitarian bills have passed in the Senate to send aid, doctors and workers to clean up the place, but they face an impossible task 1000 to 1 to try and save the 76,500 people in the quarantined zone.

While the very first area to get hit, the docks, was closed off, surveys suggest that someone slipped over the wall at night and started spreading the disease in the lower quarter. As such, the infections are presumed to sky rocket at least 400% in the coming days.

The yearly senatorial Election has come around, and with it, the first election held electronically, as to prevent the spread of GID, which has hit over 1237 cases nationwide. Most of them are contained in the capital, but there have been a few leaks. This has caused the government to sort of panick, now quarantining the whole city and handing out rations. The election resulted in a small conservative majority, while the president and his Centrist party and the Liberals have decided to form a coalition. This clearly shows in the recent times the government has had the feeling it needs to step into the average citizen's lives more to halt the spread of GID. Speculators think this Bloc will only continue until the outbreak is contained and then, like usual once he's done with them, the President will dump his allies of circumstance and go back to controlling the Senate as always.

The closure of all businesses has extended this week, as the government is requiring rigerious health inspections for any stores that have a claim to being essential. If the store is found unsanitary, the owner has 2 weeks to fix it up before a follow-up inspection. If they fail both, the store must close for at least 2 months, minimum. The growth of the parasite has slowed down, with only 1367 cases reported, around 23 deaths and finally some 34 recovered and (hopefully) immune. If they are willing, recovered citizens can submit themselves to government testing facilities for blood drawing and experimentation. For an excellent rate of course. The president gave a speech today, saying that this is the time for people to unite in smiting down this organism, for humanity hasn't survived this long just to be wiped out.

Also, Hintonia is exploring possible peaceful solutions to the conflict in Qaz and calling for both sides to de mobilize and sign an armistice, to see if a peaceful deal beneficial to all can be worked out. If not, the case of the conflict in Qaz shall be inspected by a high committee of the brightest politicians in Hintonia to see which side is in the right, and to then provide aide to that side.

With the President acting as a mediator, Qaz and Ryccia and their allies have struck up an agreement to snip this conflict in the bud and also achieve both sides' goals. The terms are as follows:

• Qaweritoyu is to remove its socialist policies (e.g. state press), and replace them with “capitalist” ones
• The Barrett government is to be banished from Qaweritoyu
• A B.U. and Ryccian backed government is to be put in place until the 2020 December elections in Qaweritoyu
• a Ryccia-backed democracy and tribunal are to judge all past and present members of the Qaz government/state for human rights abuses/crimes
• Qawertioyu has to agree to free trade with the B.U.; Chola and Ryccia

The president says that he: "Sees this as a win, for both does it stop a potential conflict, but it lets another site of capitalism and freedom bloom in Pacifica. I predict Qaz shall become a valuable ally and trading partner in the years to come, as they frequently import fine Hintonian goods like electronics and machinery, as well as high quality produce. I hope only the best to the new government of Qaz, whatever it shall be, and hope we can draw together for mutual benefit."
