You would essentially have three mini MoRAs and one overarching big MoRA. If the "Deputies" were allowed to have their own policies over their selected department, wouldn't that make them at the level of a Minister? If we followed this system, we would have to discuss how they would be chosen etc. etc.
The whole reason why the "Deputy" system works in MoFA is because one Minister can't possibly account for 20 regions at once without help.
SoSes and Advisors in the MoFA aren't Deputies, Deputies are separate entirely.

I think it's fair to say the majority of people in this debate disagree with you, look how long it is, man, 12 pages. You don't get 12 pages out of people who are not interested in it.

Mainly because there was an opposition of which I was apart of. We were all tired of the debate, the Sunshine Act was invoked, a whistle was blown, the opposition stood in anger and defiance at the split proposals, what did you think would happen if one of the proposals went to vote? Since the tides have calmed and some anti-splitters now see the light (i.e. me), I think a proposal being passed is now much more viable than it was before. Also, I doubt the original debaters of the split argument are gonna suddenly become anti-splitters considering they contributed immensely to the creation of the proposals and their general discussion.
I agree, I was originally an anti-splitter too, I currently stand on the side of splitting if it's proving too much work for the Minister to undertake.

I'm really proud of the Assembly. The current draft is solid and was reached through impassioned but friendly debate. This has my support.
Re: Discord servers: I'd be supportive of taking this opportunity to unify the Discord servers. I'd be happy to put in the work to make that happen, and I should have enough time in October to help smoothen out any wrinkles during the transition period.

Do we think it's useful to have the LC component in here? I think it might make the proposal more divisive. I also don't think the restrictions put on the LC representative are feasible, but I think kicking the LC discussion to later would be beneficial to all involved.

I believe that Somy's proposal is sort of the culmination of this discussion as it has the input that we spoke about, and gets the job done.

The LC component isn't in the draft that I wrote or plan to motion.

I believe that was with Swifty's proposal as well as with Whole India's proposal.
