Apply for a job in the government

If you want to participate in the government of the Coalition of the South Pacific and want to do actual work in helping the government functions, getting a job in the Executive branch is a perfect choice for you! The Executive branch of the government which includes the ministries is the one that actually run the various activities in the region such as military, foreign relations, media, cultural events, roleplay engagement, infrastructure maintenance, and recruitment.

Working in the Executive branch will give you opportunities to experience working in a government, making connections with other players, opening your future political career in the region (e.g. running for elections), and even exercise your real-life skills!

All jobs here are completely open for everyone who is a citizen (have a nation in our region) and only need you to fill out a form. You can apply for as many jobs as you like. Beginners are welcomed and will be provided training. The minister (or representative) from the ministries you applied for will contact you via Discord once you have applied.

The South Pacific Special Forces (SPSF)

The SPSF is the official military of the South Pacific, maintained by the Ministry of Defense. They engage in military gameplay, also known as raiding/defending where you defend or invade a region. SPSF's primary task is to protect the Coalition, our allies, and other regions from invasion as we are a defender region. Military gameplay is a fast-pace game that requires strategic thinking and coordination with others so if you are one who is interested in such things, the SPSF is a perfect place for you!

SPSF is always recruiting and training soldiers.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)

MoFA is the face of the region to the interregional world. They maintain embassies all over the world and conduct various negotiations and communication with the governments of other regions. MoFA offers you exposure to the dynamics of NationStates diplomacy that you can't otherwise get and give you valuable chances to work in arguably most important department of the government.

The ministry is currently recruiting ambassadors who represent our region in other regions.

The Ministry of Culture (MoC)

MoC is tasked with organizing cultural events such as holidays, contests, festivals,... and managing and engaging the roleplay communities in the region. If planning and running public events and meeting with people is your strong suit, you should join MoC now!

The Ministry of Media (MoM)

MoM is responsible for the public media of the South Pacific. It runs public news services such as the Southern Journal. MoM is suitable for those who like to write and get a hand in journalism!
