I just don't think it's right for us to be chastising them like a child, when it's Osiris that escalated things unreasonably. I don't think it's right to say that Lazarus and Osiris are of equal blame here, because the rhetoric was run of the mill stuff for NS Gameplay. We can be neutral without trying to be the patronizing region that calls everybody else childish.

Had one of them been the bigger region and taken the high road, there is a very good chance that this war doesn't happen. Just because Osiris escalated the situation doesn't take away the fact that if Lazarus had recognized the situation was going in that direction, and acted with tact, there's no war. And don't read that statement wrong. I am not blaming Lazarus for starting the war. However, they are both equally responsible because they both engaged in rhetoric that lead to Osiris declaring war. I also don't like the excuse of "that's how NS Gameplay is". Just because everyone is doing it doesn't make it any less antagonistic. I don't think the current draft of the Resolution is patronizing. I think it fairly states that both regions took part in mudslinging and that mudslinging caused a stupid and frivolous war to happen. I don't think we should downplay the reality of the situation just to make our friends think we're not mad at them. Personally, I am peeved at Lazarus, and as a region that preaches Peace, I think we all should be a little frustrated that our allies (albeit new-ish allies) fought fire with fire and are now in a war that could have been easily prevented.

If you guys want to be neutral, a heated statement chastising an ally isn't going to do the job. We'll be part of the political war, yet again trotted out by others to justify their own hostile actions.
I prefer Glen-Rhodes's proposal and motion it to vote.
