[PASSED] A2111.02 Adding Dates to the Sunshine Act

Legislators of the South Pacific,

There has been a seconded motion to bring an Amendment to the Sunshine Act to vote. The debate thread can be found here.

As this is an amendment to a general law, it requires a simple majority (greater than half) to pass. The voting period will last 3 days, ending on December 2nd at 09:00 UTC (09:00 in London, 04:00 in New York, 20:00 in Sydney).

Please vote by poll if possible. If you cannot vote by poll, post 'Aye', 'Nay' or 'Abstain' in this thread. Please do not vote both by poll and by post. Comments and discussions belong in the debate thread and should be posted there.

2. Publishing of Discussions

(1) The significant discussions of an institution shall, in due time, be released for public archival accessible to all members of the South Pacific. 

(2) The release of discussions shall occur at the following times:
a. For a Cabinet term, discussions from the Cabinet shall be released no later than 6 months after the completion of that term:
i) Discussions of the February to June term are due for release in the following December.
ii) Discussions of the June to October term are due for release in the following April.
iii) Discussions of the October to February term are due for release in the following August.

b. For a High Court case, they shall be released no later than 6 months after the ruling or, if appealed, the ruling on the appeal, has been announced.

77.8% | 95.5% (discounting abstentions)
Nays: 2
3.7% | 4.5% (discounting abstentions)
There were 10 Abstentions (18.5%); 27 legislators were absent. Thus, attendance for this vote was 66.7%.
In light of these results, the bill has passed, achieving the required majority (>50%).
