Ughhhhh. According to a recent poll, support for same-sex marriage seems to be falling, but if you look in the news it's understandable

On the other hand, same-sex marriage is set to become legal in Germany on 1 October.

Losing John McCain is going to be rough, he seems like one of the few decent Republicans left.
German news is currently starring the "food blackmailer", who threatens that he will food in jars. He already did it and told the police about it and the police approved that.
The German people got warned by the police and state TV to pay more attention to damages of food jars or missing underinflation of the glasses.

Our president who has just been elected around a month ago has been forced to move out of her HDB flat (shared housing estate between hundreds of people). Instead of the Istana(white house equivalent)where all presidents stay, she has been in her flat for quite some time now. Neighbors have complained about the large amounts of bodyguards and policemen around her house, which is understandable.
