That Time I Was A Terrible Administrator, And Other Stories

I didn't write it to be positive per se. Though I certainly could have more explicitly included positive memories, which I certainly could have.

It makes it look like your time in TSP was less than decent.

Overall, I think it shows a process of growing and strength. It shows that I wasn't always the best, but worked hard. And I would say that my time in TSP for the last 2ish years has been less than decent.

Somehow I'm sensing that the word "appreciate" was sarcasm.  Blush

What I truly appreciate, however, is you taking the time to read my piece.

@ Same to ProfessorHenn, of course.

Actually, it wasn't. I do appreciate the defense of a friend and fellow player. I disagree with the logic, but appreciate the loyalty.

I have a slightly controversial opinion here, and it's not because I'm against Tsu or HEM, but if Belschaft will have a case brought against him, shouldn't the both of you have cases brought against you as well, because of your knowledge of OBT? I don't know if others will agree with me, but I think it's just a morally fair thing to do, that we have faith in the judicial system to resolve the controversy that is OBT once and for all.

Again, I mean no malice in stating the above, just my personal opinion. Given that both Tsu and HEM have eventually came to recognise the gravity of the situation that was OBT, I would willingly put up a plea for leniency for the both of them if this goes to trial.

Please... don't come after me :/

It's a fair point, though, not without legitimate contrary opinions.

HEM,

TSP was an old boys club. Kris and I disrupted that for a short time but with all the old blood and the interference from foreign regions and players, there was a limit to how much we could shift the balance of power. If anything we'll always support new blood and I appreciate Tsu choosing Sam for VD. Otherwise TSP's "democracy" was just a musical chairs competition between the same old same old.

And you forget the part where Belschaft blackmailed the Delegate of the region. He also used intimidation and negative tactics like fear mongering when I was delegate so I can see how he's a security threat to the region. He's a threat frankly because he doesn't believe in democracy or fairness or honesty and will use any methods necessary to force the region to his will. It's kind of sad because this is a game. He acted like he was the monarch and TSP his fiefdom but that's contrary to the spirit of the region.

As for the trial, Awe we just lost a justice to COA or its imminent but if you want to pursue this (again in our great region, a trial has to be pursued by ordinary citizens instead of an attorney general) then PM me.

There is no equivalency of course, this is just an attempt to again make excuses for Belschaft because he led and kept the old boys club in power for so long that they owe him some sort of allegiance. If Glenn did 1/1000 of what Belschaft did he would be tarred and feathered and indeed he did nothing at all and there was an attempt to trash and remove him but you know fairness and objectivity are things that seem to be lacking.

This feels like the beginning of my own memoirs, lol.

Thank you for the incredibly high praise. It's been a great journey and I've enjoyed working with you.

I actually kinda regret talking you out of being delegate. I still think you weren't in it for the right reasons at the time, but I also wasn't ready to let go.

And escade, can you cut the shit. You literally just spent an election cycle campaigning extremely hard against a new candidate and for a member of the "old boys club".

And let's not forget that I spent my political capital as a member of the "old boys club" to vouch for you when you had little experience. If you want to focus on cooperation, you can't keep this us vs them mentality.

And critiquing the methods that Bels was stripped of citizenship does not equate to supporting him.

Wolf is part of the Old Boys Club, honey. Did you think that I wouldn't know that?

I mean his entry into this region was all about his long time friend Belschaft. Not to mention how close they are in other regions. Not to mention Wolf's particular history in NS.
