Resentine is divided into 5 regions, each region being a former kingdom. Each region is ruled by a regent(appointed governor, can be impeached) and their own unitary parliaments.

Resentine also runs the colony of Baliish, but, due to Baliish's colony and crisis recovery status, Baliish is run only by an appointed regent.
