~500 B.C.E.-200 C.E.: Tanisian traders searching for new trade partners land on Sedunn's southern coast. Trade begins between Sedunn and Tanis, as well as Sedunn indirectly trading with the coastal Ubesiian clans through the dominant Tanisians. The Sedunnic city of Loennvem is founded and becomes a major port city due to trade. During this time Sedunn traded raw materials such as copper and silver while Tanis traded goods such as pottery, salt, pearls and shells with valuable metals coming from Ubesii.

~130 C.E.: The Todaji clan becomes the most powerful clan in Ubesii and eventually unifies the country into a loose confederation under the first Parkai and make the city of Sanis the capital.

200-400: A cultural flourishing takes place between the nations of the "Mediterranean", causing scientific booms in Sedunn, Tanis and Ubesii including seafaring technology, causing Tanis to lose it's near complete control over trade. Much of what will later be seen as modern Ubesiian culture comes into being during this time.

400: The Keta clan overthrows the Todaji in a civil war, but are unable to unify the country under their rule due to a disastrous war with Tanis, and Ubesii is plunged into almost ceaseless war until 1250. During the war Sedunn gave Tanis loans and seized Ubesiian ships near their territory.

520~600: Sedunn is invaded by neighbouring tribes, seeking economical and cultural wealth. Sedunn wins a pyrrhic victory, barely avoiding annexation. This leaves Sedunn severely weakened and the nation enters a period of isolation.

600: Sedunn recovers and isolation is ended. Trade in the "Mediterranean" sea increases, but does never truly reach its former hight.

800s: Tanis and Sedunn begin competing to map their continents, leading Sedunn to discover the Polar Continent and found the colony of Vastraenn.

1250: The Mokana clan rises to power in Ubesii under Seris Mokana, stabilizing the country after centuries of war and re-establishing trade and diplomacy with the outside world, as well as conquering Tanis.

~1390 - 1444: Sedunn fights a series of defensive wars against neighbouring nations. The result is the same as during the 500s and Sedunn isolates itself.

1521: The Sedunnic king officially declares the second era of isolation to be over, although trade had been re-established a few decades earlier. He seeks to re-establish trade and to resume exploration of the world.

1542: Sedunn sends an expedition of exploration across the South Pacific Ocean and discovers the Karnetians and Resentinians.

1850: Ubesii rebels against the Kingdom of Barkan, eventually forcing them out. Soon after this Sedunn helps Ubesii with their industrialization project.

1915-1916: The Empire of Ubesii, with a clear ambition to expand its influence and to dominate trade in the sea, declares war on Sedunn after the latter refuses the Empire's ultimatum to allow them to rent the city of Loennvem as a naval base. The first engagement between the two occurs at the Lutra Strait (south of plot 191), with the Ubesian navy unable to break through Sedunn's defenses. In a daring move to end the war quickly, Ubesii sends an invasion force around the southern continent. The attack takes the Sedunnic military by complete surprise, but despite this they are able to force the Ubesiians to land away from their target - the Sedunnic capital Grovne - and eventually force them to surrender. Ubesii accepts a white peace.

~1949-1951: Sedunn defeats the Tekarian fleet at Lutra Strait, effectively cutting their navy off from their supply lines, striking a crippling blow to the Tekarian war effort in the west. During this time Sedunn also supplied the Ubesiian rebels with weapons.

1951: After the end of the Great War, Ubesii goes into self-imposed isolation for over 60 years.
