OOC: Perhaps I should have specified that claiming the entire peninsula is the eventual goal as the colony builds itself up over the next few in-universe years. I tend to overlook the important details when I get the creative juices flowing.

Darn, Frost beat me to it. I wanted a colony on that big island, although by the very nature of Erinor s size it would have been a lot smaller. Oh well, I'll look for somewhere else tonight.

Also Ryccia, could you expand my claim so that it includes the two small islands directly north of the largest island?

I would like to (gradually) claim those areas marked in a dark blue (Would like turquoise though, but was too lazy to arrange that rn). A name......Well, I'll come up with one, when it gets official. At first you can just write "claimed by" or "belongs to GI-Land" or something like that ^^

Governor Titaria looked out over the sea of this new land from her balcony in Pavonis. It had been a very long time since the Imperium decided to expand, coupled with the fact that they just ended their long isolation. And to think that thousands more would be coming over the next few months. After listening to the sounds of the waves and the busy toiling of construction workers, farmers, and miners, she decided to go back into her office less than two meters behind her. Pausing for a few moments, she picked up a decanter of brandy and poured herself a glass before sitting at her desk.
Taking a sip, she turned to her aide who was furiously typing away on his laptop. "Decius," she said, "can you ready a document for me?" He looked up and nodded. "Of course, Governor. But may I ask why?" "I wish to send a message to the other colonies on this continent. Prepare to transcribe everything I say to the letter." Decius nodded once again and prepared himself. Coughing a bit to clear her throat, Governor Titaria spoke, "To the newly formed territories of our neighbors, I wish to extend my congratulations to those who successfully made the voyage here. It is my fondest hopes that we can share this new continent peacefully and establish trade not just with each other, but to our homelands in Pacifica as well." "However, it is important that there be a place where colonies can air their grievances and ease hostilities. I am more than willing to let the governor's manor in the New Dracon Peninsula be that forum, provided that we can all make the meetings. With utmost sincerity and by the grace of Her Imperial Majesty and the Senate, Governor Quintina Titaria." The typing ceases. "Done, and sending to the printers."
Can I claim the eastern island shaped a bit like a question mark? The area controlled will just be the eastern-most third.
