I would definately be open to having continents looking like this. See below for a comment to the relative isolation of TSP. I put the other continents at a distance that would leave TSP a fairly distinct region of its own (as an explanation why it has a separate map), but not be "too" isolated. My thinking was to have like a balance. I'd be open to adjusting the distance to make it smaller or larger. Also, as a general note: I forgot to put an empty map people can play araound. I've updated the first post.
Are there other suggestions or ideas?
Is it possible to retrieve the original SVG file of the map?
I thought the map was done on PPT?

Posts outside High Court venues should be taken as those of any other legislator. I do not participate in the regional server, but I am happy to talk through instant messaging or on the forum. I think the original version was produced using Illustrator or another similar software. Plot revisions were later made using overlaying on PowerPoint. In any case, if we cannot locate the original files, I believe an entirely new map can be created. However, it would then be a question of design ... I'm not sure what program B&N used to draw the map, he said it was old, but had layers Updating is done in PPT, using text boxes. B&N hasn't quit NS and can still be contacted if we want to know more about how he created the map or ask if he'd be willing to share the original file. However, for the expanded map I'd advocate a different style with fewer elevation levels, something like this, but with less complex borders between different levels of elevation.
That is doable.
I suppose the other Pacifics will also have to be something similar to what we currently have — islands, islands, and more islands. Is there anything else to it?
Chicken legs apparently
My previous suggestion modified with the suggestions provided:
The new continents would need some more detail added to the coasts not to look out of place. Keep in mind that the closer to the poles, the larger distortion gets, meaning any land there looks bigger than it actually is. Here are some different views of the planet Pacfica: |
