But, Austral does mean south in other European languages. I think that name would fit with on of the new continents that are decor only, as it implies these people came from somewhere else.

Which is exactly why Suderia ought to be swapped out with a continent inspired by Austral. If both are South then we should use the one where the region at large shares a connection with similar to Sedunn’s Bailtem where the Sedunnic language originated from ICly.

We don't know where Austral originated from. If we were to designate a specific continent, there would be ramifications for the languages that are related to English IRL (all Indo-European languages) and the countries that have any of these languages. I wouldn't oppose that, but perhaps that would be a discussion for another time.

Some changes based on the feedback so far:

Central Islands: Same name
Antarctic Continent: Keylia Keyli (uncertain IC origin, OOC origin is the name of the one who draw the map, Kyle)
Mid-Southwestern Landmass: Crabria Crabry, coming from some old possible proto-Karnetvorian/Resentinian (RL Slavic) language stem for the continent: khrabry/hrab, meaning brave. It is also got into the Sedunnic language by mistake as 'Ksavbyu'.
Western Continent: Cordilia (from Spanish 'Cordillera' referring to the massive mountain ranges in the centre of the continent, possibly specifically to the Cordillera Range on the border between Huawan and Qvait)
Rainbow Islands: Same name
Northeastern Continent: Bailtem (from the Sedunnic name 'Beilltemm', which I believe is used in other languages too?)
Southeastern Continent:Suderia Bareland or Southland (a name in Austral referring to the only desert in the region and the adjoining steppes, or a variation of Suderia/Austral)

I can see the potential issues that may arise designating a specific continent, like mistaking the continent as the origin of English and Indo-European languages.
But I would still push for at least one of the continents/landmasses to have a variant of Austral in their name.
