Beta-Testers wanted: New Forum Theme
#51

Just wondering, where is the setting to change theme in the New TSP theme?

Go to your name in the upper corner, click 'edit options' in the dropdown menu. It's at the end of that page.

The new theme is very intriguing! Looks light, fresh and familiar. A few thoughts and observations of mine (desktop browsing, not signed in):

It feels like the theme is a bit too wide, meaning for example that text in posts is displayed over a very large area compared to now. There is more of a "wall of text" feeling to it and you may have to move the head instead of just the eyes to read everything.

Having the navigation also at the bottom of the page would be nice (this thing: The South Pacific > South Pacific Interregional Seaport > Operations Center > Beta-Testers wanted: New Forum Theme). I think I would like it if it and the page navigation floated on top of the screen as you scroll down as an alternative.

It would be nice if the subforums of subforums were listed with less space between them (this vs this). I'd also suggest using the same subforum symbol as for the parent forum (the check mark in a circle instead of a speech bubble).

It would be good if the panel to the left with the link to Discord and navigation links floated on top instead of on the left.

I miss the "last post" text in the link to the last post in a thread.

The green panel with the circle-i with the thread title looks like a temporary notification rather than something stationary. Maybe it could be blue and without the circle-i?

In addition to the the reputation, I think it's nice to see the amount of likes that the user has given like in the current theme.

New theme doesn't seem to have table generator.

Hope this helps: current vs new, link that takes you to the last post in the thread is highlighted.

Ooh, I see. What you can do is click the green arrow, that always takes you to the most recent unread post. But I can add that as well - I've put it on the TODO list.
