I agree. I think it would be a good idea to wait and talk with Lazarus before we make any declarations of our stance. I think we owe it to our allies to have talks before deciding what our action will be.

I am not sure if there is much to talk about with Lazarus. This conflict with Osiris seems to be about nothing more than displaced words and no real acts of hostility have occurred. I have to agree with Kris this conflict seems to be much about nothing and TSP should remain neutral. I also agree with Kris with regards to the wording and its reference to hostile actions taken by Lazarus.

Exactly, if every sarcastic remark or joke made in poor taste was considered an act of hostility NS would be devoid of foreign diplomacy. Both sides are at fault and does not concern TSP in the slightest. I say leave them to do as they please. They brought this on themselves.

The concerns having been (hopefully) clarified, am I correct to assume that the Assembly wishes to attend both conferences, and further that it wishes to host the Independence Conference?

And Punchwood, that's enough. Anyone who's a citizen of TSP is welcome to add their input, even if they don't agree with you.
What have I done now ? Also I know no one will care what I say but how can just leave our ally not even asking them if they want help ? If this is how we treat our allies I would hate to see how we treat our enemies.

See the thing is, yes they may be our ally. But where does TSP come in regard the Osiris-Lazarus War. Just because they are our ally doesn't mean TSP has to be dragged into a war that has nothing much to do with TSP.

And look at this from a diplomatic view. Choose Lazarus, you'll lose the relation with Osiris and possibly its allies. Choose Osiris, you'll lose Lazarus. Best stay away from the mess and avoid the situation where you have to choose between regions

Just to clarify, we have already lost what little of a relationship we had with Osiris.

I have to insist on what has been said: please let the Cabinet assess the situation with Lazarus, so we can have all the necessary information before issuing a resolution.
