Have you been following the thread? Unibot will be putting it up for a vote later today. (You're actually the person who suggested it shouldn't be.)

The law isn't just "changed" at a whim. That's kinda the bedrock of TSP.

You said he was starting the recall not a vote. And what do you mean in the brackets I don't get it.

Once a recall process is started, it has to go all the way, and that includes the actual vote.

Legally speaking, whenever someone proposes at recall, there has to be a vote after three days of debate. It isn't up to the Chair of the Assembly to decide whether or not to hold a vote, or how legitimate the arguments are.

I will add that I personally think it is ridiculous that there are no motions or seconds required for recalls, plus there's no way for people to retract a recall proposal. It's all very inflexible.

I'd like to see us change that law in the future.

I actually agree. It would be interesting to have that debate.

Perhaps, a thread should be made. It is a very good idea though. It could bring train wrecks like this to a grinding halt and strengthen TSP's security from foreign influence.

This recall is now up to vote.

We've previously stopped recalls if the original petitioner withdrew the motion.

We've also previously not done that at times. There's an ambiguity in the law, so it depends on the Chair.
